Crafted from old vines and a new clonal source, this extreme cool climate Sauvignon Blanc represents a promising, outside-the-box Sauvignon Blanc expression from California. 95% of Sauvignon Blanc, 5% Grüner Veltliner. Cool climate Sauvignon Blanc is rare here, yet it’s the norm for the greatest SBs in the world (think Sancerre and Marlborough). charge on the California coast. The Stone Blossom joins Clone 1, Musqué Clone, and ENTAV
Clone 530 (a Loire Valley clone). This vintage, we are especially excited to start working with
the Salaal Vineyard in the heart of the Edna Valley. Here, Cadre sources both Clone 1 and the
Musqué Clone, a new addition that adds a delightful floral aroma to our wine. At the Paragon
Vineyard, Cadre continue our work with Clone 530. This clone, planted on the north side of the
property in iron and volcanic soils, ripens earlier and has much lower pyrazines than Clone 1. It
brings a unique and fascinating dimension to our win

Center of Effort has progressivly refined their approach to Chenin Blanc, producing wines with great typicity and structure since our earliest vintage. Center of Effort's wines are planted on a small vineyard site, located about 2 miles away from their main estate, with perfect soils and aspect to support this classic grape.

They hand-harvest the ROC Estate in two passes about a week apart, highlighting varied ripeness in the fruit. Then preserve the natural aromatic character of Chenin Blanc through fermentation in concrete and stainless steel, with attention to avoid excessive oxidation or malo-lactic fermentation which can mask the clean primary flavors of this variety. Short aging on the lees imparts subtle texture, and the wine is bottled at about five monthls old.

Fresh and undeniably coastal, our SLO County Chardonnay is the next iteration in our journey towards crafting the ultimate expression of this captivating variety. Continuing and evolving the tradition of our “Stainless” Chardonnay, the winemaking team continues to experiment with new techniques that allow the wine to retain its focus and pure, crisp, balanced style.Harvested at night and pressed under nitrogen to avoid oxidation. A long, cool fermentation using specifically selected yeasts ensures the retention of fresh esters and thiols that drive the
delicious aromatics of this wine. Partial malolactic fermentation softens the high natural acidity
and adds layers of complexity. Frequent lees stirring and extended aging on the lees in tank gives
this wine an impressive mouthfeel that you may not expect from an unoaked Chardonnay.

Made from 100% Vermentino, this wine showcases the varietal's full potential, grown in the prestigious Paso Ono Vineyard in Paso Robles, California, where sandy, well-draining soil yields small, flavor-rich berries. Hand-harvested in early October, the fruit was pressed whole-cluster and fermented in a 500L terra cotta amphora, which enhances natural convection and allows for gentle aging. This traditional Italian vessel, with its porous clay, facilitates natural temperature stabilization and subtle oxygenation, promoting complex aromas and textures. The wine spent nearly five months on its lees before bottling in late March, resulting in a product that highlights the unique terroir of Paso Robles with added minerality and salinity, making this rare California Vermentino a noteworthy expression of its kind.

The 2022 Squire Pinot Noir from Spanish Springs reveals the craftsmanship behind its creation through its refined flavor profile and structure. Crafted with meticulous attention, the wine undergoes fermentation in small, open-top fermenters, which allows for gentle extraction and nuanced expression of the fruit. Aged in a combination of French oak barrels and concrete tanks, it achieves a balanced integration of rich, fruity character and subtle, toasty nuances. The careful aging process imparts a smooth, layered texture, while preserving the wine’s vibrant acidity and fine tannins. The result is a Pinot Noir that reflects the winemaker's dedication to showcasing the elegance and complexity of the Spanish Springs vineyard.

In jazz and soul, a rare groove is a recording that is extremely difficult to source. With extremely limited production, this blend os 55% Grenache and 45% Syrah is just that.The cool climate of Edna Valley has been known for Chardonnay and Pinot Noir for quite a while. Lesser known is the extent to which Syrah and Grenache thrive in this cool climate. Spicy and nuanced, this blend will continue to develop character with extended aging!

The 2022 Saucelito Canyon Zinfandel showcases the winery’s dedication to traditional winemaking methods and its rich heritage. Sourced from old-vine Zinfandel grapes, the wine is fermented in small, open-top fermenters, allowing for precise extraction and preservation of vibrant fruit flavors. Native yeasts are employed to enhance the wine’s authentic expression of its terroir. After fermentation, it is aged in a mix of new and seasoned oak barrels, contributing to its complex flavor profile with subtle spice and a well-rounded texture. Some vines still date back to the 1880's and are still maintained today by the Greenough family. Saucelito Canyon Winery has deep roots in San Luis Obispo County, known for its commitment to quality and its role in reviving the region’s historic vineyards. The result is a Zinfandel that reflects both the winery’s legacy and the distinctive character of its vineyards, with rich, concentrated flavors and a refined finish.
